Viridor’s refrigeration recycling plant receives hundreds of units per week. When the plant experienced an unplanned shutdown, the backlog of refrigerators rapidly reached a significant size, and kept growing.
With a rapid solution required, Edwards prioritised Viridor’s requirements, working longer shifts and weekends. Our team managed the fabrication, re-building and integration of the plant, collaborating with the commissioning equipment manufacturers.
The facility was back up and operating within six weeks, enabling the backlog to be brought down to manageable levels.
