We are continuing to carry out essential works at our clients’ sites ahead of this year’s harvest. One project currently underway is the installation of a new Cimbria Grain Dryer for a client in East Lothian.

Replacing an aging unit which was no longer economical to repair, the Cimbria Grain Dryer is being installed along with a new feed and discharge equipment, as well as ducting and access platforms.

Our engineers have done a great job completing the pre-assembly and initial erection in just 3 weeks, a real challenge due to current social distancing restrictions. The Elevator stands at 23m tall and so a 100 tonne crane was utilised to lift it into position complete with the new belt.
