Edwards fabricates and installs the Killiecrankie Bungee Jump platform.

The team at Edwards were set the challenge of fabricating and installing Scotland’s first purpose-built Bungee Jump platform. It took 7 weeks to arrange the closure of the B8079, a major access road in the area, for one night to get the job done. The major technical challenge was to bolt the platform to the underside of the bridge whilst working at heights in the dark. Dougie Anderson, Edwards installation projects manager, used a crane on the bridge to assist with this.

Thankfully the installation was successfully completed in just two hours and the road was re-opened for local access. Now, thrill-seekers from all over Britain can enjoy the 40m drop and the iconic scenery of Highland Perthshire.
